What is a Luleka Partner?

A Luleka Partner membership is a premium membership option available for all basic membership accounts. Please find our plans for more information about the difference between basic and premium memberships.

Which payment methods do you support?

We allow all major credit cards and payments using the Luleka Piggy Bank micro payment method. We will add more payment methods over time.

Can I sign up as Partner for free?

Yes. When other Luleka Partners invite you to become a friend, they can choose to include a partner membership voucher for you.

Can I cancel my Partner subscription?

Your subscription is paid in advance up front. Please see pricing and our Terms of Service for more information.

What is a community on Luleka?

A community on Luleka is a shared space (e.g. a group or organization), where people meet to give recommendations about related topics.

How can I create my own community?

During our beta period, we only have a limited number of groups and organizations available. If you are interested to start your own community, please submit your application or contact us directly.

What types of communities can I start?

You can create private or open communities (e.g. Luleka). The difference between groups and organizations is that company employees can moderate discussions.

What does claiming an organization mean?

Inside a community (e.g. a company), employees can volunteer and gain moderation rights (e.g. as official reps) by claiming their organization.

When will my employee status be activated?

If you provide us with your corporate email account, your employee status will be verified immediately. Otherwise, your employee status will be activated after our internal verification process, which may take up to three business days.

How do I contact Luleka customer service?

Why should I invite my friends?

Your friends and their friends are the best source for advice you seek. Usually, the closer the relationship we have to people giving advice, the more we trust their recommendations.

What is a contact invitation?

An invitation is a message to your friend asking to join Luleka.

What is a contact?

A contact is a friend who has accepted your invitation.

What is a partner membership voucher?

A partner membership voucher gives you access to a free premium membership.

What is a voucher?

A voucher contains a promotion code, which allows you to receive Luleka services free of charge.

How can I redeem a voucher?

Enter your promotion code, select continue and follow the instructions on your screen.

How do I get a voucher?

When other Luleka Partners invite you to become a friend, they can include a voucher for you to receive a free Partner Membership.

How can I report inappropriate content?

On published posts you have an option to flag inappropriate content. The right to flag content varies between communities, but usually requires a minimum amount of reputation.

What is inappropriate content?

Inappropriate content is material that does not comply with our Guidelines and Terms of Service. Flagged content will be reviewed and removed immediately if deemed to be inappropriate.

What is a Tax ID?

As Tax ID you may provide either of the following: Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN), Social Security Number (SSN), or Employer Identification Number (EIN).

What if I don't provide my Tax ID?

It is not required to enter your Tax ID. It is your responsibility to declare taxable revenues in the country you registered.

Where does Luleka publish my Tax ID?

If provided, your Tax ID is printed on invoices to your clients only.

What is a profile page?

The profile page is a link to your personal profile on Luleka.

Why can I change my profile URL only once?

We only allow you to change the URL once, due to reasons of search engine optimization.

How do I seek advice?

You seek advice by posting a concern on Luleka. A concern can be any Question, Idea, Problem or Praise.

What is a recommendation?

A recommendation is one or multiple responses to a concern.

What is a solution?

The recommendation that answers a question, solves the problem, etc. is marked as solved.

What kinds of incentives do you offer?

Depending on each community or concern, there is a number of opportunities to receive rewards, such as reputation, monetary bonuses or monetary rewards.

What is reputation?

Reputation is a rough measure of how much the community trusts you. Reputation is never given, it is earned by convincing other users that you know what you're talking about. The more reputation points you collect the higher your reputation is.

Why do I need reputation?

Reputation is completely optional and normal use does not require any reputation whatsoever. If you do go beyond simply starting and replying to conversations, your accumulated reputation points help you to gain more influence in the community.

How do I earn a monetary bonus?

Some communities offer monetary bonuses in a similar way reputation is earned, i.e. based on a user's action. For example, if your recommendation solves a problem, you earn a bonus of $0.50.

What is a monetary reward?

A monetary reward can be offered by any user seeking advice. Likewise, users can add monetary rewards to increase quality and turnaround time on their own or on others' concerns. The rewarded amount is transferred to the user offering the best solution. For example, a paralegal is giving excellent input on a pressing contractual issue and receives a reward of $50.00.

What is the revenue split on monetary rewards?

70/30. 70% goes to the user earning the reward, Luleka stays with the remaining 30%.

How do I earn reputation or bonuses?

You gain reputation points or earn bonuses by posting useful content. In rare cases you may also lose reputation. Some communities offer bonuses related to a user's action.

For example, if your peers will vote up on your recommendation, those votes will cause you to gain reputation.

Voting down someone else's content may also result in a small reputation loss for you.

What can I do with reputation?

By collecting enough reputation points you go beyond simply seeking or giving advice.

What is a Piggy Bank?

Your Piggy Bank allows you to make micro payments for service rewards and transfer funds from and to your real bank.

What is a Personal Address?

Your Personal Address is your private contact address. It represents your country of residence. It will not be shared with others, unless you decide to.

What is a Business Address?

The Business Address is the way clients get in touch with Luleka Partners.

What is a Billing Address?

Your Billing Address is used for all purchases. For Luleka Partners the Billing Address appears on all Sales Order and Sales Invoice.

Why can I not edit the country field of my Billing Address?

You first have to change country of your Personal Address before you can change your Billing Address.

What is a Purchase Order?

A Purchase Order contains a list of items you have bought on Luleka.

What is a Sales Order?

A Sales Order contains a list of items you have sold to a Luleka member, e.g. a reward you were given for a recommendation that solved an issue.

What will happen to my information when I close my account?

Your account, including all information you have posted on Luleka will be maintained anonymous.

If I close my user account, will my information be removed permanently from Luleka?

If you choose to close your account, we will suspend your account and we will remove your information automatically after 7 days.

What will happen to my funds in my Piggy Bank when I close my account?

We recommend you transfer all your funds before closing your account. Otherwise, your funds will remain with Luleka.

What is purchasing credit?

You can charge your Piggy Bank account by purchasing credit using a payment method.

Are there any fees involved when adding credit?

Luleka does not charge you any fees for adding credit. However, your bank may charge you fees, such as currency conversion fees, etc.

How can I transfer funds?

Currently, you can use Paypal to transfer funds from your Piggy Bank to your real bank.

Can I change the currency of my Piggy Bank?

No, the amount is denominated in the currency you selected when you signed up with us. However, your bank may convert the amount to the bank account's currency.

Do you charge transaction fees?

A small transaction fee may apply to outbound transfers depending on the method you select.

Is the entire amount transferred?

The amount you see on your destination account is the value you enter minus a transaction fee.
